I went with a friend to Gisburn Forest this morning. She's got a bad leg & is having trouble driving so I took her & her dogs to the forest in my car so they could have a good exercise. Gisburn Forest is over the border from us in The Ribble Valley, Lancashire & is part of The Forest of Bowland, an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. It's a lovely forest with several marked routes, mountain bike trails, 3 car parks & a picnic area read about it HERE . I didn't take my dogs as I thought 9 dogs in the back of the car was pushing it a bit!
