It was a beautiful warm, sunny morning today so I took the girls deep into Crummack Dale to the 'Wash Dub' for a paddle. This is a place where the farmers wash the sheep in the river. The 'Wash Dub' is divided by an ancient clapper bridge; stone slabs on top of stone supports.

Time to head home girls!
When we got home I discovered we had some visitors in the garden. These 3 ducks have been coming & nesting in the flower borders for the past few days. They are pretty handsome beasts & its nice to look out the window & see them sleeping in the sunshine. The down side is they leave a lot of pooh about which Bella likes to roll in if she gets to it before I find it & remove it !
