As the weather is still bitterly cold here I have spent the day sitting in the conservatory knitting my sweater. I started this sweater 7 years ago! I found it parcelled up in the loft a few weeks ago and decided it was about time I got on with it !
My knitting skills are a bit hit or miss, about 30 yrs ago as a beginner knitter I managed to knit a man's cable sweater with very little help. That was the first thing I ever knitted and my last until 7 yrs ago when I picked up the needles again to start this very simple stocking stitch sweater. I have had to buy myself this easy to follow book to get me started again.
Another 7 yrs and I should have it finished !
This is a great book for beginners but quite pricey to buy as it is now out of print, there are a few on ebay priced between £8 - £20.
